THE ROLE OF AMHARA REGIONAL STATE SOCCER CLUBS MANAGEMENT FOR SPECTATORS SATISFACTION

Abstract

The major objective of this study was assessing the role of amhara regional state Soccer clubs management for spectators’ satisfaction. The effect to get reliable information of the issue under study, descriptive research method employ because descriptive methods helps to explain clubs management for spectators’ satisfaction. Data gather from participants that are claiming to have adequate proximity to the study area. To select from the whole population 120 spectators, by using random sampling techniques, 2 club mangers and 2 coaches by using purposive sampling techniques. Two instruments such as questionnaire and interview were used to gather the data. The descriptive analysis of the data was analyzed by using both qualitative and quantitative methods such as frequency counts percentage and descriptive statements. The major factors of amhara regional state Soccer clubs management for spectators’ satisfaction were lack of facility, written documents, financial problem, program problem or arrangement, problem of securities of the stadium ,covid19, cleanness of stadium for specially Fasil Kenema, and no enough car parking. To overcome the following recommendations have been forwarded to clubs management and every stakeholder should work hand to hand in order to solve the problems. The government administrators should give high attention to solve lack of budget, facility and to build on standardized stadium. The majority respondents were not satisfied in the clubs. Generally, the researcher concluded that cleanness of stadium, facility, atmosphere of the game and securities of the stadium were very important to increase spectators’ satisfaction. Therefore, clubs managers should be given a great emphasis to clubs facility to increase spectators’ satisfaction to develop soccer managements.
