FACTORS AFFECTING PRIVATE INVESTMENT ACTIVITIES IN GENDAWUHA CITY ADMINISTRATION, WEST GONDAR ZONE

Abstract

The purpose of this study is explicitly identified the Factors Affecting Private Investment Activities in Genda wuha city administration. Descriptive type of research design has been employed to address the research objective. Quantitative research analysis is used to provide numerical measurement and analysis of the magnitude. The study was used both primary and secondary sources of data. Self-administered Questionnaire was used to collect primary data. Investment bureau documents, reports and other related replications have employed in gathering the secondary data in this study. All out puts were reported using frequency, percentage and mean results. Descriptive statistics was used to analyze the data. The finding shows that administrative, infrastructure, market, finance related factors in general particularly market has significant effect or obstacles to enhance the private investment activities in Genda Wuha city Administration. Hence, to promote the performance of private sector in the City, it is essential to take measures that can improve administrative, market, infrastructure facilities financial institution environment and also create conducive and attractive investment conditions.
