dc.description.abstract Background: -Vaginal birth after caesarean section is appropriate for a majority of women who have had one prior lower segment caesarean section. However, little is known about vaginal birth after caesarean section in Ethiopia. Thus, this study aimed to assess the success rate of vaginal birth after caesarean section and its associated factors in University of Gondar comprehensive specialized hospital, North West Ethiopia, 2022. Methods: Facility-based cross-sectional study was conducted among women抯 underwent trial of labor after previous cesarean delivery in university of Gondar comprehensive specialized hospital from Jan 1 2018 to April 30, 2022. A chart of study participants were selected by simple random sampling. The checklist developed from different literatures was used for data collection. Data quality was controlled through provision of training for data collectors and supervisors. Variables with p-value < 0.2 during Bivariable analysis was fitted to Multivariable analysis. Chi-square assumption was checked. Model fitness was checked using HosmerLemshow test at p-value >0.05 Keywords: successful, VBAC associated factors, Gondar, Ethiopia en_US
