Abstract:
Introduction: The effect of resistance circuit training was important to improve physical fitness
components. The great advantage of circuit training is that depending on the exercises chosen, it
can be used to develop strength, power, muscular endurance, agility, aerobic endurance and
anaerobic endurance (Howell and Morford, 1998).Objective: The main objective of this study
was to examine the effect of resistance circuit training on power, muscular strength, speed, and
agility on volleyball project trainees. Method: To employ the study, by random sampling
technique 22 experimental groups and 22 control were selected to perform resistance circuit
training e for eight weeks, three days per a week. And out of the total number of 44 male
volleyball player before training project volleyball trainees has done pre-test (standing high
Jump , 30m speed slalom agility test) was recorded. After two months, post-test measurement
on the same parameters was taken. The difference between the tests were analysed statistically,
with paired sample t-test and independent T-test at(P<0.05) Result: Consequently it was
observed that selected resistance circuit training implemented on project brought about
significant improvements from paired sample t-test pre-test and post test results of experimental
group standing high jump test was increased by Pre and Post mean difference of(M=3.27
±3.9) P value=0.001 . Speed in which duration of 30m result Pre and Post mean difference
of(M= 0.2 SD=0.26)seconds P value=0.002 and Agility in which slalom agility test (M=.318
SD=.39 ), P=0.001 . According to the result the investigator we summarize that adding effect of
resistance circuit training program helps to improve youth volleyball athlete’s power, speed,
strength and agility performance
