dc.description.abstract | The objective of this study is to see the total electron content (TEC) value at each phases of geomagnetic storm day over selected GPS stations located in Nazareth and Bale robe, in Ethiopia. The data’s are Observational and navigation, in addition with compactable software which is used to convert the data’s in to easily readable form and the Matlab programming language for plotting and comparing. The particular storm day considered under this study is 22 July 2009. The occurrence of geomagnetic storm at that particular day is checked by geomagnetic indices. After using matlab programming language and graphing the total electron content (TEC) value at each phases of geomagnetic storm day considered under this study shows that there is increment in TEC value during the recovery phases of geomagnetic storm. That means total electron content (TEC) value is greater during the last phases of geomagnetic storm day considered under this study both in Nazareth and Bale robe GPS stations | en_US |
