Summary
Intention to leave that decreased affective commitment, job satisfaction the study adds to our
understanding by examining the similarities and differences in predictors of intention to leave
and turnover. Results indicated, perceived organizational support and age predicted intention
to l eave. In contrast, decreased performance, continuance commitment and increased intention
to leave predicted actual turnover. Implications for these differences in understanding the
turnover process are discuss
This research expanded understanding of the key antecedents of intention to leave and
employee turnover in a sample of retail banking employees from a large Australian
Intention to leave were investigated. Results indicated that high performing employees with a
strong promotion focus or high affective commitment reported significantly lower intention to
leave compared to lower forming employees
The objective of the study is assessment of intention to leave and associated factors among
health workers in Western Tigray.
The purpose of this study is to improve the retention of health workers through
exploring and assessing their quality of work life (QWL) and turnover intention.

Methods: A facility based cross sectional study will be conducted among health workers
found in western Tigray. Random sampling technique will be used. The data will be collected
by trained data collectors. After the data has been collected it will be cleaned and analyzed by
SPSS version 20 statistical software. Finally the data will be presented by using frequencies,
percentages, mean, and standard deviation. To see the association, strength of the association
and direction of the association bivariate logistic regression and the final determinant factors of
job satisfaction will be determined using stepwise multivariate logistic regression.
