Job-related Stress(
Objectives: The aim of this study was to assess the prevalence of job-related stress
and associated factors among nurses working in Governmental hospitals of the South
East Arsi Zone, Oromia Region, Ethiopia in 2020
Methods: Institutional based quantitative cross-sectional study design was conducted
among 536 nurses from Febury10-March10, 2020.The investigators conducted a
census. Data was collected using a pretested and structured self-administered
questionnaire. A bivariate and multivariate logistic regression model was fitted to identify
associated factors with work-related stress among nurses. An adjusted odds ratio with a
95% confidence interval was computed to determine the level of significance.
Results: The prevalence of job-related stresswas found to be 53.92%. Female
participants were 1.48 times more likely stressed than males

nurses who work in an emergency, medical, pediatrics, and obstetrics units were
