For entry and analysis of data EpiData version 3.0 and STATA version 14 were used and linear regression were carried out to see the association of independent and dependent variables with 95% confidence interval and a p-value of less than 0.05 was used detect statistical significance. Result: five hundred and fifteen respondents participated on the study giving response rate of 98%. Most of the participants were female Conclusion: most participant’s intention to donate blood were below the mean value. predictor of intention to donate blood were past experience of blood donation, direct subjective norm, direct perceived behavioural control and direct Attitude.
