distance and occupation were the most frequently cited risk factors. However,
studies addressing the spatial distribution of actual place of delivery are scarce,
and hence getting information which will help to take geographic based
interventions is important.

after antenatal care service and its associated factors in Lay Gayint district
Northwest, Ethiopia from January to June 2016.
Method: Community based cross-sectional quantitative study design will be
conducted. Simple Random Sampling technique will be used to select 548
women who gave birth 12 months prior to the study period from
Data will be examined using descriptive statistics, and logistic regression will be
used to check the association of independent variables with dependent variables
by using dusted odds ratio and 95% confidence interval
Work Plan- the whole process of the research project is expected to be
conducted from January to June 2016.
Budget: The total cost of the project required is estimated to be 36,855.50
