dc.description.abstract Abstract Background: The main purposes of the health information system is the use of data. Medical professionals and administrators can find areas that need to be improved by using data from the health industry. With this knowledge, they can take steps to improve any areas where patient care is deficient and elevate the standard of care for all patients. This can be supported by the use of District Health Information System 2 platform which is expected to increase the utilization of health data. However, there is no adequate information on district health information system 2 data utilization at private health facilities in Amhara region. Objective: This study aimed to assess level of district health information system data utilization and its associated factors among health professionals working at private hospitals in the Amhara region, 2022. Methods: An Institution based cross-sectional study design was conducted from May 9 to June 30, 2022, in Amhara region private hospitals. Simple random sampling technique was used to select participants. A total of 395 health professionals were participated en_US
