Abstract:
Peptic ulcer disease (PUD) is a destruction in a part of the
gastrointestinal mucosa that may pass through the muscularis mucosa. Depending on the site of ulcer, PUD can be
gastric ulcer (stomach) or duodenal ulcer (duodenum) [1].
PUD is the most common gastrointestinal disease with a
worldwide prevalence of about 40% in developed and 80%
in developing countries
