dc.description.abstract This research is aimed addressing the problem of realizing rights of children residing with parents in prison. Herein, numerous research studies are reviewed in order to identify the trend of the problem, to determine its origin, and to propose solutions in different places other than my identified area. Specifically, the research focused on the practical application of right of children residing in prison residing with Parents in North Gondar Zone. The findings indicated that children of imprisoned mothers live in an extremely difficult circumstance, deprived of their basic needs and rights. The research then made some recommendations that will help to realize the rights of children living in prison with the imprisoned mothers. To conduct the study, the researcher used qualitative research strategy, questionnaire, interview, observation, focus group discussion and secondary sources. It is followed by an analysis and interpretation of data. en_US
